Certainly all valid points...my only thought is that I don't think its a good strategy to hang onto a under-performing coach because some players might leave. Eventually, recruiting the kind of player's needed to win a championship will become more and more difficult and the death spiral will begin.

I am so ready for the gators to be good. DJ has to be a top five Heisman candidate this year if we are going to get to nine wins or more. Just my opinion.

    Thanks for sharing Crusher.

Well yeah, my friends definitely wanted to cruse with me, and I had a number of H.S. girls pester me about wanting to drive it, WITHOUT ME IN IT, lol.
Of course I always said no, the one time I relented, I let my girlfriend and her friend drive to the 7-11 to pick something up, and of course, she got on the gas and managed to run over a damn railroad tie and tore off my front underneath spoiler. Well I was actually lucky, I just had to replace the spoiler and get a front end alignment. It could have been much worse. That was the LAST time i made that mistake.

Chevy Vega's - I hear ya, gotta have some wheels, but look at the bright side, it wasn't a Ford Pinto!

I put 200,000 miles on the Camero and still made a pretty good buck when I sold it. Boy I wish I had kept it too.

That was really my one and only sports car, unless you consider a Ford "Probe" a sports car. I liked the Probe but it had nowhere near the horsepower of the Camero. I am strictly a 4 cylinder, four door, gas economy driver now in my old age. I never really was a gear head to be honest about it.

    Do Kiffe
n and Hueple get the ax if those teams go 7-5? Ol miss may have missed their best chance in decades. Kiffens playcalling certainly may have cost them tge game in the Swamp. Its really hard to say but i hope we win 8 games, keep napier and he upgrades staff and delegates more as needed if theres still issues.

My dad bought a 68 convertible camero ss with a 327 the year i was born. He traded it it for what i think was a 74 puke green ltd " family car." Whenever there was a car discussion, id always tell him to save his opinions.

We took my buddy 's parents vette out of the garage when we were teenagers . I got on it at the first corner and did a quick 180 and luckily didnt hit anything. I put it straight back in there.

We aren't really talking apples to apples here are we?
    Kiffin @ Ole Miss: 44-18
    Heupel @ UT: 37-15
    Napier @ UF: 19-19

One of these coaches should have a lot less rope than the others.

My Dad did a similar thing when he was at GM. First he bought a brand new Pontiac Grand Prix with the 455 engine. A year later after trying to cram 3 fast growing boys in the back seat of that 2-door, he traded it for a '72 4-door Green Chevelle.

Sounds about right. And probably a top 25 defense.

Thats fair.....just think there will be a lot of pain even if the new coach is the right guy (and I don't see a slam dunk out there)

true. But the main job is to win. Hopefully that comes this year.

on topic….winning this year will certainly help land Haven.
