There will be no agreement that gives Donbass back to Ukraine or that has NATO troops as peacekeepers in Ukraine. Ukraine would be wise to agree to a ceasefire and forget about Donbass as the people there prefer Russia over Western Ukranian leadership anyway. My guess is crooked Zelensky will keep listening to the globalists though and get more land taken from them (beyond Donbass) which Russia may agree to give up down the road. If Trump and the US is smart it will cut off the insane amounts of funding we are giving Ukraine and tell the Western Euro crooks they can fund it by themselves if they believe in it so much. Regardless of what happens no sanctions etc will change the fact that Donbass is not going back under Ukranian control.
Even the conservatives aren’t defending what happened yesterday, here or online. That should tell you something, he is blindly supported on everything. His bad does it have to be for that not to happen? Meantime, calling Z in is about face saving. He will try and bully Z into a deal, Z will say no. Trump will will come out of it acting tough, the question is whether he will be tougher on Putin, the convicted war criminal, thug, murder, and serial invader, or the guy desperately trying to save his country from an invading force.
