You know it’s bad when even Fox News turns on you. Trump got embarrassed on a national stage today, just like Kamala Harris and anyone with a functioning brain said he would back when he was running again. The guy is a nothing but a weak beta soy boy masquerading as strength.

Looking for any other news articles that they can share where they “own the libs”. Hint: they won’t find one about this meeting unless from The Heritage Foundation

Back in the 19th century, the Czar of Russia was fighting in the Crimean War (where Ukraine is now) and eventualy lost. This placed a huge financial burden on Russia who could not militarily hold on to such a sparsely populated and vast territory like Alaska and so many thousands of miles away from Moscow, too. Rather than just losing its colony in Alaska without much resistance to its rival Britain, Russia decided to sell Alaska to the US in 1859. However, the American Civil War delayed the sale of Alaska not until 1867.

Milestones in the History of U.S. Foreign Relations - Office of the Historian

As they say in the history books, the sale of Alaska to the Americans signaled the "manifest destiny of westward expansion" and the USA to eventually become the next global economic power by the beginning of the twentieth century.

Just as in the past, Russians do not want to live in these remote areas.
In fact, Russia-Far East region (aka Siberia) has only 7 million people in it and its population of Russians/Ukraines there continues to decline.

Only the many native indigineous people continue to live there since thousands of years ago:
Koryaks - along the coastlands of the Bearing Sea (between Russia & Alaska) ,
Ulchi - along the Amur River,
Udege - taiga forests of ?Siberia,
    and many others.

Many of these indigineous people could have been the predecessors of the many Native American Indian tribes.

If anything, this area (Siberia) could be under threat by Asian powers like China who may want to expand its territory.

Another example, in the beginning of the 20th century, Japan did defeat Czarist Russia and seized some of Russia's land:
    the Korean peninsula,
    Manchuria.
Japan became the first Asian power to defeat a European power in warfare.

Perhaps Trump wants to make a deal with Putin/Russia and buy Siberia since as we all know, Russia is under financial strain because of its adventure in the Crimean region again. Could history repeat itself? Stay tuned. :)

There's "no deal until there's a deal" sez The Donald. WTH kind of thing is that to say?

Hope that Little Marco enjoyed his time at the big kids' table.

LOOK AT THIS MAGA! And don’t turn away or deny the facts. Here’s your guy welcoming with much glee and respect this war criminal who has killed thousands of innocent people, the most deadly war in Europe since World War Two. He is embracing an evil dictator who has targeted children’s hospitals and schools. In the midst of winter he has attacked energy infrastructure to freeze civilians. He continues to attack civilians in cities with drones and weapons. He has used chemical weapons against civilians and troops. In Syria, he placed a bounty on American troops, did you forget about that?? This person murdered political rivals or poisoned them with radioactive waste. Had agents push people out of windows. Stifles free speech.
And look at your man here welcoming this Gollum looking troll with all the excitement and enthusiasm of a fan boy! LOOK AT HIM!! He has no respect for us, and I mean all Americans. This is VJ Day and this is the day he chose to meet with this demon, forgetting the sacrifices of those who gave up their lives for freedom in the war in the Pacific.

Watching Trump clap for Putin not once but 3-4 different times makes me want to vomit.

One weird thing, though-why did the red carpet extend all the way to Putin's jetway stairs but not to AF1 when they were meeting on US soil? Bad optics for our guy. 60+ steps before hitting the red carpet. Staged poorly.

Watching OklahomaGator walking into Air Force One would display much more gravitas, and I’m a FSU grad and liberal.

Trump's slow, careful hand-on-the-rail-at-all-times descent down the steps vs Putin's relatively brisk descent isn't good optics either.

owned. Ronald Reagan is rolling over in his grave. NO American president should ever put themselves in a position like that with the leader of any country, especially a sworn enemy. Putin despises the USA. Keep that in mind maga peeps.

But any minute now we're going to hear what those "very serious consequences" are. I'm sure Corporal Bonespurs has Putin just quaking in fear of those consequences. Maybe in two weeks?
