Most people do not know how close this hit home. The staff is overly cautious about every nick/bruise/strain. In addition, football players are athletic super-freaks now ... 250 pound men that run 20 mph, 325 pound linemen that squat 500 lbs (and can move) and skill players that defy gravity. Someone is hurt on every collision with these type of athletes. I could be wrong and there is a calcium deficiency in our players diet and we lack a good stretching routine.
Hoping to be 100% when we play miami. Regarding risk/reward, which would be better, to be far enough ahead first two games to pull our starters early second half avoiding injuries and getting experience for the second level, or give them all available reps together to establish more game cohesion and conditioning regardless of the score?
