Agree to an extent. I didn’t say he a true dual threat running QB but he was def more mobile than Trask. I think Mullen saw some of Leak in Trask.

 

I highly doubt you have to worry about Bailey bouncing the football off the ground in front of receivers when he throws after being flushed out of the pocket. The difference is night and day.

 

I think Mullen couldnt see shit or purposefully played the wrong guy.

 

Warner may be better now. He was bad vs Texas. I hope we dont see anyone but DJ and possibly the freshman some day.

He is on scholarship, as athletes have been for decades. He is not paid like athletes that get NIL. This can't be that hard to grasp

 

You’re absolutely wrong. He absolutely gets a scholarship and he absolutely is on a NIL deal, it’s a very small one compared to some but he is being paid to play football. I don’t know why this is so hard for you to grasp.

 

Are you aware that Mullen's Gators faced Bailey in 2020? It's unlikely he will be flushed out of the pocket because he's a statue back there. The Gators sacked him 3 or 4 times in the first half and he was on the bench in the second. I don't think Warner is a legitimate Div 1 QB either, but IMO Bailey isn't that much different in either experience or performance.

 

Bailey has looked decent in some games including his most recent against Washington and has a little touch on deep passes and can manage a game some. Warner was made the scout team QB at Yale and was so overwhelmed in SEC play it wasn't even funny. It wasnt just someone getting picked in tight window throws. It was a QB so overwhelmed he couldn't even get the ball near receivers many times when he had to scramble out of there. Starting to think I might be jumping the gun and Napier wouldnt put him in over Bailey but he put him over the CO St transfer last season who had shown he could play QB some while he was there.
