Nah, Satanism is right-wing coded, sorry. Its a bunch of people who think monarchy is cool, want to talk about outdated continental philosophy & architecture, artsy libertarians, remnant new aetheists, people who wear capes and dress like 19th century vampires and such, etc. If mainstream culture is "liberal" they are going to be the non-conformists to liberal culture. Once upon a time the "counterculture" was into the occult and new age stuff, but now cruncy new-agey white people are more right-wing. I would add that religion is for humans trying to work their way to God through good works or what they perceive to be good. Christianity is God coming to men and women through Jesus Christ.

If you asked the population of the world if Satanism or the Church of Satan was good or evil, you would get very few chiming in for good. Very few.

They believe in karma, the principle of cause and effect, where actions have consequences in this life and future rebirths. Why do atheists spend so much time talking about something they don't care about?

 

You can be an atheist and a Buddhist, so I imagine those people talk alot about it because they do care

 

I don't see an inherent contradiction in non-believers rejecting or even criticizing religious dogma while simultaneously taking interest in the impact that religious beliefs have on society and our laws. That's particularly true in light of the fact that many seek to use the government to promote those religious beliefs.
