I just really want to see us come out and not have some bone-headed, unforgivable nonsense like two guys with the same jersey number on the field at the same time.

The only thing I'll say about a scrimmage- any scrimmage- is that they are not real world. Every player is comfortable with the offense or defense they are facing and are accustomed. However, it's obviously better our team plays well in a scrimmage than appearing hapless.

 

And?

 

If we have two guys with the same number, is there any rule that prohibits putting an “A” after the number to avoid the alleged confusion penalty?

 

Only if the letters spell d-u-m-b.
