Fair enough… If you are the head mod, can you tell me what I said in this thread that required any moderator involvement in the first place? It’s a thread about Christian Nationalists using their Christian faith as an excuse to try to take away women’s voting rights…. Is criticizing their Biblical beliefs and political agenda really off limits?

 

Private conversations become public all the time … if it’s not against the rules here then I don’t see the problem.

 

That’s fine. I’m a person who is strongly opposed to Christians imposing their beliefs on all citizens through government, and that is what this thread is about. There are a lot of Christians involved in this new wave of Christian Nationalism. But no point in any post did I say “all Christians”… but I’ll be sure to make that clear in the future, if that is what it take to stay in the good graces of the mods here.

 

I just think if he was anything but Christian this thread would be very different lol. Imagine him hosting a formal Islamic salat or ju’mah once a month lol.

• 1 Timothy 2:11-12 states, "Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness. I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet."
• Alternate Translation "But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. "

Seems pretty straight forward.

 

You can see my private property from the public road ... "private" is an ambiguous term. Once you send a message to someone, it is no longer your private thoughts, PMs just mean YOU didn't post it in public. I'm not aware of any rules or laws saying that the receiver of the message can't choose to make it public. But if want to add that rule, feel free, and I will abide by them for sure. I wasn’t referring to the moderation I swear - I was referring to some posters suggesting a wait and see approach and defending his religious freedom. I just doubt they would be doing that if the religion in this context wasn’t Christianity.
