Ha, did their duty for all those years, then what changed to make them suddenly unworthy of just general respect and the expectation that a contract is binding?

Really, any military member or career govt employee should probably watch this.

It’s rule of law type stuff, doesn’t really matter if they are trans. The trans issue is how they get certain folks to blindly go along with it due to hate. If the govt can short circuit whatever partial benefits they were supposed to have accrued in that 15-19 year career window, then they could do that to anyone in military or govt. 19 years? 29 years? 1 year away from retirement… oops too bad you get nothing. Who is to say they’d even stop at “early retirement” or partially vested people? I’m not even sure what a valid basis to steal someone’s retirement would be, other than in the case of military being discharged for serious crimes. They are basically treating these people like dishonorable discharge which is flatly disgusting.

the fact that they served in the military has nothing to do with their mental illness - trans people are mentally ill and should get treatment- I never said anything about what they earned while in the military - I did say they have no business anywhere near a gun

 

Because all people in the military carry a weapon? Secretaries, doctors, nurses, cooks, accountants, mechanics, clerks--all carry weapons?

 

What are your qualifications to make a mental illness diagnosis? What's your education? What advanced degrees do you hold? And how many transgendered people have you treated? Heck, how many have you ever met?

 

az- anyone who thinks they can change their sex is mentally ill- you get what you had when you came into this world-I am assuming you are a male- so if you cut off your johnson, you would still be a male, just one with a screw loose

 

Sex is biological. Gender is societal. And neither are as cut and dry as you want them to be. Several species in the animal kingdom can change sex from male to female or visa-versa. And gender? Trans and cross dressing has been around forever.

Now, back to your diagnosis. Again, what are your qualifications? Because several mental health professionals with advanced degrees from the World Health Organization believe gender dysmorphia is not a mental illness. Why not trust their expertise? Unless you have some credentials that compare?

Normal isn't the requirement for a pension.
I think something is broken in these folks too, but they did their job...and well it seems, since they were kept for so long, so pay them what they have legally earned.
