Pitched 12 perfect innings and lost the no hitter in the 13th.

Well, nobody else has continued to post questions so I threw this one in there (full well knowing if you were the first one to read it you would answer it).

Alright, alright, let's get back on track.
Most World Series Home runs. The yanks have 7 of the top 9 slots. Name the two non-Yankee sluggers in the top nine?

The 250 wins and 3000 Ks club has 15 members. How many can you get and who is at the top?

Not sure how many K for each win. Got to be either Walter Johnson or Nolan Ryan at the top. Johnson had more wins and Ryan had more Ks.

Roger Clemens has got to be there. Probably Randy Johnson as well.

I think that Bob Gibson sneaks in.

    Ferguson Jenkins is probably there.

Now I will have to think.

Koufax had too short of a career.

I don't think that Warren Spahn or Early Wynn had enough Ks. Same with Jim Palmer.

    Cy Young?

    Phil Niekro?

Added in edit: Tom Seaver has got to be one.

    WAG with Cristy Mathewson

Second edit: How could I not remember Steve Carleton? And Bert Blyleven?

As I get older the memories are still there. It just takes longer to dig them up.

I loved Tommy John as a pitcher but I would guess he falls short in the Ks column.

Third edit: I think that Don Sutton makes the list.

I would guess Frank Robinson would be one with multiple chances as a Red and as an Oriole and maybe one of the 1950's Dodgers. Maybe Duke Snider or Roy Campanella.

I like the 250 wins/3000 K club question. Got me thinking about lots of guys that just fell short. I don't have them all but I am getting close.

Now for another softball (LOL) baseball trivia question. Who hit the only 7th game World Series walk off home run in MLB history? Easy question but here is a huge hint. I heard it on the radio when I was a kid. Sitting in the front seat of our family's 1958 Chevy Nomad station wagon. It was blue.

A hint that might not help for the 12 innings of perfect pitching. I only know this because I had his baseball card in my youth. He was a Pirate.

Thought Harvey Haddix’s game was pretty well known.

@74nole threw a slow pitch one out there and I threw a couple of slow ones as well.

Ok, this one should be another easy one— who is the only MLB pitcher to win 15 games in 17 straight seasons?

Only 4 people hit a home run into the CF seats in the Polo Grounds. Luke Easter, Joe Adcock, and Hank Aaron are three.
    Who is the fourth?
