His O-line last year only gave up 5 sacks... until LSU played the Gators. The Gator defense got 6 or 7 sacks on Nussmeier. And for that reason the Gator defense made him look average.

But he really had some good receivers last year that helped the hype on him. I wonder if they reloaded.

 

Somewhat. The Clemson game will showcase two frontrunners for the Heisman in Nuss and Klubnic. LSU has not played their best in game one recently.

Good defense, especially a great pass rush, will make good QBs look bad. Even Tom Brady. We need our defensive line to plant Nuss's face in the dirt at Red Stick, I suspect pressure will be an important key to a Gator victory there this season.
