That used to be a thing in the old days -- when you got knocked out, leaving your shoes at home plate to signify you left it all on the field. I remember mounds of shoes. I didn't realize that was the last game at the old KSP. What a series to go out on!!
Current scoreboard: Scrappy = 2x first correct; 2 x agree correct = 30 Ocalaman = 1x first correct; 1 x agree correct = 15 Sweetpotato2 = 1 x first correct = 10 Oragator = 1 x first correct = 10 Rickjs1 = 1 x agree correct = 5 Notexgator = 1 x agree correct = 5 Gator999 = 1 x agree correct = 5
Question: What is the lowest number never worn by a Gator softball player? (ufgator72sb not eligible to answer this question, but automatically gets 10 points for the excellent "Days to First Pitch" that he does every year)
BUZZ -- Scrappy has the lowest number WORN. I'm looking for the lowest number NEVER worn -- much harder! Generally, before I go to bed -- gotta keep ya'll off balance!
All A&M seniors leave their shoes at home plate after their last game. Emotional tradition. In that game Tori Valdes just crumpled at first bawling her eyes out when the ball left the park.
Thanks for clarifying. You must have done a lot of research to find the answer. More than I'm willing to do.
My bad. OK, we will give a re-do and make this the question for tomorrow since I worded it so poorly. Gator softball players have worn 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, etc. What is the first number you get to (counting up) that no Gator softball player has worn? In other words, the lowest number that has never been used by any Gator softball player. All prior guesses cleared -- slate is clean. Everyone can guess anew.
TWO PART QUESTION: At the old KSP: (1) what used to be free at the concession stand -- just for the asking -- that is no longer available for free; and (2) where was the lineup publically posted before each game?
Free was a water station and sun block. I think the sun block is still free. In addition, the seats were free and first come first serve!
