Case in pt re: Pace - one of the biggest plays in the championship saw a Haugh block snagged by Condon, who passed out to Walt, who did not hesitate on a cross court pass to Alijah, who went right to the bucket for a two shot foul. That sequence gave the Gators the lead at the end.

That was a season-winning play. Most people don't even notice the Haugh block.

And both Haugh and Condo raced downcourt and were all over the glass, if needed. It wasn't; Alijah made both freebies. Just tremendous hustle by every Gator on the floor.

Methinks we are going to take a step backwards in the rebounding numbers. The reason?

There won't be as many offensive rebounding opportunities this year! Cha CHING!

Mike White had 6'4" guys playing power forward.

Nice guy, coaches basketball or something at some afterthought program somewhere.

You inspired me to go to the Youtube machine and watch that sequence.

Amazing to hear the announcer say that, up to that point we had a lead for only 17 seconds of the game...I heard it then but it seems more remarkable now.

Sadly, it is redundant to say MW coaches at an afterthought program.

I thought he coached college football at Cal and Illinois and then pro ball for the Raiders.

The Dawgs have had some moments. Pretty good team with Nique and made the Final Four with Vern Fleming right after Nique left.

And when they had the Hayes brothers they were pretty good.

Seemed like they were decent when Kessler was center as well.

IIRC, Kessler played the position a lot like Condon.
I was quite surprised when CMW landed a 5-star big man in Asa Newell. Neverthless, they were still just a bubble team and now he's gone.
