And both Haugh and Condo raced downcourt and were all over the glass, if needed. It wasn't; Alijah made both freebies. Just tremendous hustle by every Gator on the floor.
Methinks we are going to take a step backwards in the rebounding numbers. The reason? There won't be as many offensive rebounding opportunities this year! Cha CHING!
You inspired me to go to the Youtube machine and watch that sequence. Amazing to hear the announcer say that, up to that point we had a lead for only 17 seconds of the game...I heard it then but it seems more remarkable now.
The Dawgs have had some moments. Pretty good team with Nique and made the Final Four with Vern Fleming right after Nique left. And when they had the Hayes brothers they were pretty good. Seemed like they were decent when Kessler was center as well.
IIRC, Kessler played the position a lot like Condon. I was quite surprised when CMW landed a 5-star big man in Asa Newell. Neverthless, they were still just a bubble team and now he's gone.
