Wow, what a career. How high did he make it in the pros! I was at UF in 90, last year so I remember they had a stud. Could remember his name and had no clue he is NCAA career strike out leader of all time.

Yogi once said "I always thought that record would stand until it was broken."

I think the safest MLB record is career steals of home. Ty Cobb with 54. Next in line is Nolan Ryan with 7 no-nos.

He was also Baseball Americas P of Year in 93.

Only a 9th round pick in 94(Rangers) Made Triple A but for only 1 game. lol.. 3.84 ERA in 5 years, mostly A/AA

Cleveland recently changed their name from the Indians to the Guardians. Before they were the Indians they had many names. Name two.

Added in edit: I knew two of the names before I Googled it and found more than two.

Guys just dont throw enough innings in college anymore.. And if did & putting up those K numbers wouldnt last 3-4 years. The Hal Baird splitter was tough to handle, he taught it to a guy name Tim Hudson couple years later. you might get a mid major guy get close over 4 years, but doubt it.

Completely agree on Cobb and Ryan.
