We have a lot of games, so hopefully he is recovered enough to play. Unfortunately the most likely games for him to soak up some minutes are at the beginning of the season when he may not be ready.
The KR numbers being down is not surprising with the rule changes. Dike was the best returner we have had since probably Callaway on Punts. He didnt score, but he had multiple returns that flipped the field and gave us great field position. It seems to me more teams just opt for the sure handed fair catch guy these days. Idk if thats accurate, but it has felt like we dont look at special teams as an opportunity to score as much as just dont screw it up.
For sure. Got to think about not letting it be an accident waiting to happen. He was dependable though and could make things happen. He was good, returning and as a receiver. Gator fans really slept on him when he got here and now all that experience has to be replaced (not that EW3 and Dallas Wilson can't raise that level with their talent).
Every SEC team plays tough road games. AI says he's 3-7. If he cannot consistently have a better ratio, he's a minimum 4 game loser every season.
