Well, the Alliance Softball All-Star game is "supposed" to be on right now on ESPN+. I popped it up at 6:00, as instructed, and it is now 6:10 and it still says "technical difficulties, we'll be right back". Not holding my breath.

 

Way, way off topic. So, as a lark, I've been watching a webcam of the southern most statue in Key West. I've got to say, there are a ton of ugly, fat, tourists in Key West. They aren't conchs.

 

OK. It came on at 6:15 and they apparently held up the start of the game.

 

That's a svelte group compared to the travelers I saw recently flying thru the knoxville airport.

No. That's the pros. Alliance All-Star game is the 2025 kids heading to college in September, of which we got none. So far there are only three names we wanted and didn't get. Alyssa Parker, Kai Minor and Elsa Morisson. Edit: Add Makenna Sturgis, Lexi McDaniel, Natalie Cable, and Hannah Wells to the list of kids in this game we wanted and didn't get. Edit #2: Sturgis to FSU, McDaniel to Oklahoma, Morrison to Tennessee, Parker to Oklahoma, Cable to UCLA, Wells to Texas, and Minor to Oklahoma.

 

Well, undoubtably. Some of these people still have teeth.

 

Give it some time. A lot of them standing for pics could sink the pier. It's time for dinner and that's where the fat ones are hanging out.

I believe Leah Stevens is on the East team.

 

Is Impact in Alliance or PGF? If she was in the Alliance game, I missed her and she was not listed on either team as a pitcher. Each pitcher got one inning and the showed the full scheduled list for each team. If she is PGF and on the All-Star team, it hasn't been played yet. I think this weekend.
