And I didn't say his music was so awful that it'd make me want to drive a pencil through my eardrum. Just that it sucks out loud.

What exactly is a 'boy band?' I've heard the Beatles described as that by haters. I think the closest thing to a "boy band" I've liked in the popular understanding is Boyz II Men or Bell Biv Devoe when I was in middle school.

With EVH, I was just kind of playing the hater game that's been played on this thread. Van Halen was never my taste, but he's obviously an accomplished guitarist. I really dig Santana, and I've sort of grown to like 70s jazz fusion stuff, which has surprised me . But that nonsense with Rob Thomas I will pretend didnt happen.

If I wanted to 'hide it' I would PM someone ... obviously you've seen the post because you replied to it. You once started a thread with a picture of yourself not wearing a mask properly ... if you werent looking to get a rise out of some posters here, what were you doing?

 

My feeling is that if I post it, it's fair game & I'm fair game. & I rarely hold back on criticism of music & I'll get personal too. Hence, bring it.

Rob Thomas sung one song with Carlos. Admittedly played into the dirt, but it was pretty solid when it was fresh, and the main riff is still excellent. But at least we agree on Carlitos over all.
