I expect we will flip, we may get 3 stars and we may go portalling, since we need to. That won't mean we will be a bad DL. We have done that over the past 3 years and had a decent DL last year. I wouldn't even mind paying Robinson starter pay to come back in 2026.

We've had mediocre to poor DT play for 2.5 years of Napier's tenure...it only began to get to good mid-way through last season. If he wants to be have a long tenure here at UF, it can't regress too much. This year's group needs to stay healthy since they weren't able to replace a player projected in the 2-deep that left.

A flip and some 3 star underrates would be great. Two flips would be even better. :)

Is James Johnson really the #1 DT? I have not watched film.

Robinson got replaced by Bett, and that may end up being a fair trade. We played freshmen a good deal because of Lyons being out and Slackman not being full go through the year, so the back end of 2025 was probably more of what to expect for the future as those freshmen got better.

I would choose Sone as #1. His feet at that size is incredible. That being said there will be others shine in their senior year. Mbatchou was basically an unknown at this time last year, btw who we flipped from Texas.

Ugh, Sone is a beast. Great.

The thing about Mbatchou, he has the physical attributes but not developed. Anybody know how he's doing on the field?

Donald is only 285 and hes the best tackle in the nfl for the last decade. I dont buy it that a player needs to even be 350.

We need those 3* guys as the third and fourth guys. We need top guys at the first two spots. If we dont get em, its just an uphill battle. You can win uphill battles but not nearly as often.

I dont either, but I think it can help at NT to eat up 2 blockers and on goal line stands or 4th and 1, like against Ole Miss.

It does help to be big if your not as talented. Donald eats two guys for breakfast and then makes plays on the perimeter. Dez isnt gone through at all but he is easily gone around. Id rather have a 300-320 that can run someone down. Larry Allen running that dude down shows why he was an all time guy instead of just a good one. Make that dude that just committed at te a dt and unleash him on olinemen. Good luck staying with him.

Yeah no sheet. We all know that. But it's not working out, yet. Plan B is better than an empty nest.

I’m 98% certain we will land/flip someone we will all like before NSD1. (Barring an unprecedented collapse in season).
