Neither us knows the kill ratio, but recent body exchanges throw freezing water over the notion of Russians out-dying Ukrainians. And the analysis I’ve posted (twice now) covers the hilarities of the notion. Also, the notion of Russian meat waves is pulled out someone’s ass and widely propagated in its stinkiness. Putin is widely acknowledge, within his own ranks, to be extraordinarily risk averse. And with its overwhelming advantage in firepower, there is no need to marshall suicidal big arrow moves, let alone meat waves. Additionally, Ukraine acknowledges that Russian troops in theater have grown ten-fold since the beginning of the war. So if many hundreds of thousands of Russians have been killed that would point to millions having been conscripted. Zero evidence. Summing up: I would not be too far wrong to contend that nearly every assertion you’ve made, since the beginning of the conflict, has been diametrically opposed to facts on the ground. You are propelled by an irrational hatred of the Russian people.
Listen man, I've been willing to play nice with you and entertain the crazy assertions you have been making just to see where the information you are getting is coming from but if you do not start sharing the source of this info, I'm going to stop. You are either willfully ignoring the facts that have been brought to this board and proved over and over to you because you think it is funny or for some other strange reason that I cannot fathom but it is clear you do not believe the things you post and intentionally do not provide any sources for the assertions you make.
Don’t go away angry. Just go away. But in leaving you are going to miss lots of Western commentators (several of them former US military) that agree with me and often go beyond me in assessments of the war that would leave you grinding your teeth.
Information about EU sanctions against the Russian shadow fleet. EU hits Russian oil, shadow fleet with new sanctions over Ukraine war
You are not smart enough to understand the evidence presented, and you have done nothing to refute it. You have already been told that Russia is sending Russian dead bodies over to Ukraine in the body exchanges, so it is doubtful that he ratio of bodies exchanged means anything. You still have no answer as to why Russia is using North Korean troops, and kidnapping foreign students and forcing them into military service (a Geneva Convention violation). And why Russian government officials are saying that Russia will be short by 11.9 million workers in 2030. Where are all the working age people going? Is Russia scheduled to be on vacation in 2030? Or did they lose massive numbers of young men to the war and to war avoidance strategies, and, over the years, caused women to lose faith in their government and be unwilling to have babies? The Battle of Bakhmut saw the greatest use of meat wave tactics. Russians were using lightly armed convicts to go ahead of their troops to draw the fire of Ukrainian troops so the Wagner troops could know where to aim their weapons. Avdiivka had the second-most use of meat wave tactics. Russia has a history of using these tactics, dating back to WWII if not before. Read a little history, son. Ukraine war: Russia's 'meat assaults' batter Ukraine's defences Russia’s ‘meat grinder’ tactics in Ukraine have proved effective in past wars – but at terrible cost Russia's 'meat-grinder' tactics bring battlefield success - but at horrendous cost Putin Is Throwing Human Waves at Ukraine but Can’t Do It Forever Moscow's 'meat wave' tactic litters Ukraine battlefield with frozen corpses of Russian troops You are apparently propelled by an irrational hatred of unbiased sources, as well as logic and common sense. Being completely wrong is what you do best; even if your info has a thread of truth in it, the truth is twisted and woven into a narrative of lies.
I'll just rely on the US IC and friends that have been involved. For instance, I'm about to go to the retirement of a friend that was at SAG-U last summer. But I'm sure he does not really know anything about how the conflict is actually going.
Just had a long talk with a friend from Ukraine. You could hear the pain as he spoke about it. Not at all defeatist, but also realistic about Russia’s will to fight as long as Putin is there. He said the eastern half of the country is in Ruins (which we knew), but it won’t get rebuilt as long as there is a threat of another invasion, so it’s basically a wasteland. His best friend had his windows blown out by a missile but survived, and much of his family is still there. His overarching question was: How long can a 19th century grudge actually last, when will it end?
