Nice move by Billy and yes Wanne, I had a good friend pass away from that hideous disease. I can't think of anything much worse to catch than ALS.

I never knew much about it until the last year and a half and I've known two people that had it. One of my good friends mom got taken down this year by it.

One of the worst imaginable afflictions that one can get. I would not be brave enough to tolerate much of that.

I have a friend who lost his mother and both of her sisters to ALS. He's worried about his two grown daughters.

That's tough Strange, hope the daughter's are spared from the affliction.

Its a difficult conundrum. What is worse: having a perfect mind and watching your body slowly die or having a perfectly good body and your mind is gone? I had one parent fall into each category.

Both my grandmother's ended with dementia and they were both happy the whole time. They just didn't know what was going on. I think that was more sad for everybody around them then it was for them

That’s why he has 3 titles and was a killer recruiter.

Smart move, playing in the SEC for a probably better staff, and real money- check will not bounce.

Gotta be Boggs, the other three don’t have a drinking challenge named after them

Gwynn all day. The first part of his career before he gained weight, he stole bases and was elite in the outfield.

Based on what’s posted, I’d take Boggs. (For the stats and the drinking challenge)

But if you could have Ichiro for his entire career, including Japan, that’s a no brainer.
