Trump is a fighter, it would be extremely surprising to me for him to walk away. This is just another in the liberal media's long line of BS and it only sticks in the liberal mind
How would Trump even know if he wrote the letter? He thinks he had the following conversation with his uncle about the unabomber: "There is very little difference between a madman and a genius. But Kaczynski … I said, 'What kind of a student was he, Uncle John? Dr. John Trump, what kind of student?'….He said, 'Seriously? Good.' He would go around correcting everybody.' But it didn't work out too well," Trump claimed.
I doubt Trump sues. He threatens to sue the media a lot more than he actually does it, I think. But if he does, and I know there are lawyers here who know a lot more about it than I do ... but it seems like the discovery phase ought to be fun ....
He's not going to sue because it's real. Contrary to what certain posters here may think, WSJ isn't publishing that story unless they know it's real - especially with recent events of Trump suing and abusing his power to punish his enemies. First they claim it's fake. Then they'll claim it's no big deal and doesn't mean what people think it means. However if it was innocent, he wouldn't have pulled that bizarre 180 on the Epstein files recently and wouldn't have been calling the owner and editor in chief of the paper trying to kill the story. It's real and sharing a sharing an unspeakable with a pedophile means exactly what it looks like.
Don't blame the liberal media. Trump and his team are the ones that brought it up. Who told us that there was a phase one, more to come and this now saying never mind there's nothing to see? Trump is the one that called his followers stupid, not the media.
The Wall Street Journal published a hatchet job article with a FAKE “birthday letter” that is supposedly from 2003. This is like the Steele Dossier that kickstarted “the Russia, Russia, Russia” Hoax all over again. The WSJ refused to show us the letter and conceded they don’t even have it in their possession when we asked them to verify the alleged document they’re basing their ENTIRE fake story on. When has President Trump ever spoken like the conversation alleged in the fake WSJ story? That’s not at all how he speaks or writes. The WSJ knowingly published false information to smear the President of the United States. As I said at the podium today, there is a coordinated Hoax by the Democrats and Fake News to smear President Trump
According to Grok No, the grand jury testimony isn't the full scope—it's mainly victim statements from the 2006 Florida case, not all evidence like FBI-seized items from 2019. That jury likely didn't see alleged blackmail videos; reports of hidden cameras exist, but a 2025 DOJ review found no credible blackmail evidence or client list. More transparency could clarify. So a big nothing from Bondi. What are they hiding? Where is the list that she said she had on her desk? No one is dumb enough to fall for this
Oh so they hadn't released everything after all? Also, this isn't even close to everything - it's a desperate attempt to appear transparent while still not revealing the truth.
The letter has Trump's idiotic signature on it. I'm sure the WSJ had a handwriting expert validate it. And I'm sure they have a lot other evidence that it's authentic. They wouldn't publish this if they weren't sure of it. But we'll see. Gonna be fun watching this story dominate the daily news cycle for the next few weeks.
Why is Trump fighting this so hard. He was able to survive an audio bragging how he grabs women’s crotches, was adjudicated as being a rapist, and has sex with a pornstar while his wife was pregnant (or had a young child) and then paid to cover it up….with campaign funds. Why is he so upset about a letter showing how creepy he is? It’s already baked in.
Because it's Epstein. Epstein is a huge deal to many of Trump's supporters. The announcement that the Epstein files wouldn't be released really riled them up and this bombshell just adds to it. If Trump were to say 'yeah, I wrote the letter', it would just further feed the belief there's a coverup going on (which there probably is).
