let's not forget what a great defender Scottie was nor how easily Prather got to the hoop. Haslem anchoring this defense would have been tough to score on. Condo is dominating the offensive glass while Richard seals off Young.

 

OK. Take my post favoring Team A as a vote for Team A.

 

I like Team D in this match-up. Cross, Frazier, Miller and Haugh can all shoot very well from deep. Spread the floor and put Noah at the high post where he could pass or attack the rim in half court sets. He did that at UF and did it really well with the Bulls for a few seasons.

And Noah is maybe the best rim protector the Gators ever had and he can run the floor WAY better than Chinyelu. He can even handle the ball on the break.

But Dametri's game might not translate to this line up. Chins can match him pound for pound down low and I would take Will Yeguete over Harvey every day of the week. I give Team C an edge on the bench.

Al Horford and Mike Miller are the two best all around players and I give an edge to Al. They can both do it all. Both great players. Al is just a little bit greater.

Martin and Brewer are defensive studs for Team C but Noah is a mistake eraser for Team D that evens out the defense.

I think that Team D just has too much fire power from the arc for Team C to overcome.

 

Da Meat Hook on the bench is a horrible disappointment to every Golden Corral

 

Put me down for team C. Though you might see Richard move into the starting lineup over Ruben. I like Green over Cross, Martin over Frazier and Horford over Haugh. Noah is definitely better than the centers on team C. Brewer vs Miller is a hard one to pick, but I go with Team C for their stifling defense.

Team C bench cuts deficit slightly but team D bench maintains defensively

Simply an observation: DeClercq would not have backed up Brent Wright. It would have been the opposite. DeClercq played 10 seasons in the NBA. He is perpetually underrated.
