I think Trump left unspoken that he was referring to balancing the budget in the latest round of Sim City that he was playing with the ghost of Herman Cain. The "9-9-9" plan really works!

When I have had tight financial times, I looked at my bills and got rid of frivolous items, but kept those that I deemed morally important, like food. I also looked to increase my income at the same time. Get a better paying job, get an extra job.

I didn't ask my boys under the age of 12 to pitch in their pitiful allowances.

trump and the maga cult asking that everyday Americans pay more for goods (tarriffs) to allow for more income, and give up needed services to save money, is like asking my kids to foot the bill when I was the one earning the big bucks.

And you realize who pays taxes on tariffs right? It isn't the importing country. It is the Americans importing it.

 

To the OP, not without changes to Medicare, SS, or Defense. No sacred cows. So far the efforts have been like cutting out Starbucks but adding a vacation to Europe to help the personal budget get in order.

 

Hopefully he is not one of those fools who thinks Xi is cutting checks to uncle sam to pay the tariffs.
