I00% agree with you! The entire offense needs to breakout this season, and, then, the defense will be fine. I, especially, want to se see DJ compete for the Heisman ballot, because that will bode well for the Gators season!
Both you guys are correct. What what ive seen is that we move the ball pretty well between the twenties but bog down in the redzone. Some of that may be attributed to to playcalling but a great redzone qb is needed no matter what plays are called and we've only had Trask in how every many seasons its been. Trask would get the job done, will DJ?
Hopefully, Kahleil is back to form. No doubt, the question is how well he has recovered from that knee injury. With that knee, he probably will be further back in the rotation. We shall see.
DJ not hobbled with a leg injury should automatically help out in the Redzone. I don’t necessarily disagree with plays but the predictability of them needs to loosen up. That’s the problem of always playing to the analytics. If you coach that way, it’s easy to coach against it.
His legs will help for sure but throwing is where its at to be elite. Instead of throwing it to tulanes guy, make the td throw consistently.
I don't know if DJ has a breakout year, but the media is predicting the Gators to finish 6th in the SEC. If that's as good as it gets, the Gators will not play as well as I am anticipating. Am I way off or is the media basing their prognastication on the past only?
