I read the article, which is how I knew who they talked to. Also, I know that the El Salvadoran government hasn't made the detainees available to press or researchers.

Again, you either didn't read the article or are just trying to gloss over that the article is using what someone currently imprisoned at their word. Here is the quote for anyone not biased like the poster above.

It always fascinates me how willing you are to argue with people for hours or even days when you aren't willing to read entire articles. If you kept reading, you would see their sourcing. It wasn't reports from CECOT.

I'll give you an example, since we both know that you won't keep reading. Here is one of the listed sources for the detainee.

The article provides similar sourcing, at an individual level, for the entire sample. It is not based on interviews with people in CECOT, who are not available for interviews.

 

LOL. They asked people in prison and they said they came to the US legally. How about you go to the closest prison and do a poll of who was innocent LOL. And so now we are supposed to believe the family members? Yeah, I'm sure they are telling the truth...
