After a few UF wins those will change. Especially if their current commitment has losses. It’s the way of recruiting. The sky is not falling before the season even starts. Just like every previous year
I'm not denying that winning does not factor in immensely but money is by far the biggest recruiting tool.
Especially after a bye week. If we're 4-0 fuggedaboutit! I know the Swamp magic will be in full effect no matter the record.
i think Texas is primed to go on a UGA run soon. They’re reminding me of UGA 2017-2019 where they’re there but stumble at the end. They’ve amassed too much talent to continue to fall short imo. We use to feel the same about UGA and Kirby and then he got over the hump
He's been consistent on this since NIL became a thing. Not going into bidding wars for high school players so he has more to spend on retaining current players who do well.
I'm pretty sure that your right that he has been consistently offering NIL since he arrived at UGa......in 2016
i don't know what he really does but what he said is a good strategy. You cannot pay a player who has been productive less than a true FR a staff hopes will be productive. I do believe NIL numbers are not unknown to other team members. That said, dawgs eat poop.
That's the general idea, yeah. Kirby has been saying that to anyone who will listen for years now. You have an all conference upperclassman making less than some 5* that just rolled in for the first day of fall camp and that's going to cause some issues in the locker room if nothing else.
As in all other walks of life, it’s generally a bad idea to discuss paychecks with other co-workers/team members. Doesn’t stop people from doing it anyway though.
