There you go. The problem isn’t that she couldn’t name a single place she’d been in the White House despite saying she had free rein. The problem is that someone asked her such a difficult question. So unfair!
In none of her testimony yesterday under oath did she state she had free rein, to move about as she chose, in the White House. She did say her duties in the DNC and fund raising allowed her into the White House and then testified to what she witnessed. I take what she said under oath before the House committee over a biased interviewer with her sharp biased knives and out for blood.

I work for a large company and the CEO never directly gives me assignments - it's always other people who work under the CEO telling me what to do. Does that mean the CEO isn't running the company? Or does that just mean that I'm not important enough to be interacting with and getting direction directly from the CEO?
Using an autopen to send out letters is a little different than having the Chief of Staff tell the Staff Secretary that the POTUS has approved a or set of pardons and the Staff Secretary is approved to use the autopen to sign them. Not sure why some reporter at NBC thought this was a gotcha moment. It just shows their ignorance.
Or it shows that it's commonplace and it's probably not a great use of the President’s limited time to individually sign thousands of pardons like it's an autograph session at a sports memorabilia convention.
Or maybe a POTUS should have the Staff Secretary in his office to tell them in person what pardons are approved. If a reporter cannot tell the difference between using an autopen for a letter from a committee chairmen and not having the POTUS approving the use of the autopen in person for a pardon, that person should probably not be a reporter.
You're applying your own arbitrary standard. Trump didn't individually sign every pardon for the Jan 6ers, previous presidents have used autopen also. It's a bad faith argument brought to us by the same people who expect us to believe that a President can declassify documents with his mind.
It is not an arbitrary standard to think that the POTUS should personally tell the Staff Secretary that he/she has approved the pardons in person and they are approved to use the autopen. By allowing another person to do that, it creates distrust in the process since it creates a gap that would allow the other person to slip a name or difference condition in between when the POTUS approved it and when the Staff Secretary signs the Pardon with the autopen.

No, it is a process question since Biden did not directly tell the person who signed them with the autopen he approved them all. And you are also relying on Biden to tell the truth there, which is coming from someone that still says he could be serving as POTUS right now, which we all know if blatantly false.
I think the most reasonable among us would agree Biden was the worst president this side of Christ, but it never ceases to amaze me the more we find out.
Audit all the people that had access to Biden and you might (this is not for sure) see that the autopen was used/sold to the highest bidder. We need much more clarity as to who was using the autopen. I'll bet real money that it was Hunter and Jill Biden... or that they may have been the ones authorizing/guiding it's use.
The autopen is under the control of one person and that is the Staff Secretary. That is the only person approved to use it.
