Republicans do actually have to do it. They spent hundreds of millions of dollars to ensure every person in America knows who Nancy Pelosi is.

    Its the DSA, not Mandami.

i agree with your DSA. There is a coming civil war between the democrats and the DSA. The younger generation with the likes of David Hogg are more kooky and militant than current party so as time moves on the party will move more left. I got my popcorn to watch NYC eat itself

What seems to be resonating with many New Yorkers …. those having difficulty affording rents and unable to buy homes in the city …. is his message of affordable, community housing. That one issue seemingly drives much of his support.

My wife has a great job. Our combined annual income is low 7 figures and I don’t feel entitled to live in NY. We visit once every few years. To me, it’s more of an indoctrination into victimhood. because they can’t afford to live in one of the most expensive cities in the world…. it’s someone else’s fault and they want to elect someone who makes no Bones about taking from others to give to Those who vote for him. Guess what? I can’t afford aspen, or Jackson hole but rather than burn them Down, I would simply seek employment and residency elsewhere. But that’s just how we chose to live our lives. Not blaming others and burning it all down when I don’t get what I feel I’m entitled to

Apparently Elmo is getting ready to announce a run in the fall to the Left of Mandani.

    as I said….republicans don’t have to make
Mamdani, Crockett, Omar, AOC the face of the Democratic Party….. The left will elect these loons on their own. Crazy Crockett already leads the dem primary in Texas for senate

irrelevant. I made the argument that the right doesn’t have to make crockett and company the face of the Democratic Party and that the left would do it themselves. When you are elected as the primary winner for Democratic Party for senate, you are defacto the face of the party.

It's not irrelevant, it a reliable cycle. Someone like AOC or Crockett say outrageous things to get likes from the far left and raise money. Republicans highlight them to raise awareness of their positions and raise money off them. AOC or Crockett say they are being attacked by the Far Right for standing up for their beliefs and fund raise off it. The money and attention cycle allow them to raise their profile more than a DLC type Democrat and not have to worry about a challenger from the left in a primary. Same thing happens on the Right.

Not nearly as much as the left-winger activity.

If the threat of Sharia Law has re-emerged, it seems like a good time for some bi-partisan rallying around the Establishment Clause.

How will Cuomo running as an Indy affect the race? I would think it might hurt Adams more than Mamdani.

It probably will. I would have to think some Wall Street types will off Adams a golden opportunity at their firms to do Political Consulting for such a large number that he drops out of the race.

Please don't say Sharia Law. Trump and Miller might hear about it and start chopping off people's hands.
