The American people are going to find out that the CIA, Mossad (and MI6) were associated with the trafficking of underage girls to get blackmail material. Trump is bleeding support because of how he's handled the Epstein files, his deference to Netanyahu and his prolonging of the Ukraine war. Democrats are now the higher propensity voters and Trump is not on the ballot in 2026. Republicans can't afford to lose any voters. The Senate was looking good in 2026 but not anymore. Dems are now looking to pick up 25-35 seats in the House. Bondi is too dumb to be a part of this administration. Trump has incompetently handled the Epstein situation and should now take the advice of Robert Barnes and hire a special prosecutor. Barnes and Baris rip Trump a new one and tell him how to salvage his presidency:
That is hilarious. Are you that naive to not think that IF the Dem had something huge on trump that they wouldn't release it before the election? It goes both ways, I didn't vote for trump but I'm not dumb enough to believe IF trump had something damaging to Harris he wouldn't release it. Just say you're team Dem and will toe the company line every time...
None of your strange hypothetical means anything. I'm sorry, but Trump's unethical, un-American weaponization and abuse of the DOJ is not the same as ..... when that didn't happen under Biden. So, again, thanks for comparing something that didn't happen to something that did. But it's not valid.
What color is the sky in your world? I am in full agreement that trump is unethical, but biden did use the DOJ to target trump. It's what it is at this point. You trying to defend your team is par for the course. It's ok to disagree with your team once in a while. Try it sometime...
You're responding to an example in which the dems had something huge (Steele Dossier) and didn't release before the election. They also didn't release the Jack Smith reports before the 2024 election allowing them to be buried by Trump and Bondi. That doesn't prove that they wouldn't release Epstein details, but it does show that someone wouldn't be naive or ignorant to believe they would hold off on releasing Trump/Epstein info.
LOL. Huge? Something that was false? It's ok to admit it. The Biden admin had all the same info that the trump admin have on Epstein. Both admins look foolish, but trump admin more so because they campaigned on releasing it. Jack Smith reports? Come on, at least let's deal in reality. IF he had something, he had years to bring it forward and didn't have the evidence to convince higher ups to bring charges. trump is crooked, one of the reasons I never voted for him. But to make it like only one side is wrong here is just playing politics.
How did Biden use the DOJ to target Trump? If anything, his slow-moving Garland did the opposite. What color is the sky in your world? It's OK for you to occasionally not root for Team Trump.
You don't think the Steele Dossier was a huge story when it came out? It still regularly comes up today. Had it been released just prior to the election it would have been a massive story, regardless how much of it ended up being true. And if you go back through the thread, you'll see that I have been calling out the Dems for also sitting on the Epstein information.
Just because something was a huge story doesn't make it true. If you don't think Hilary wouldn't play dirty to release the Steele Dossier if she thought it would help her then I don't know what to say to you. Maybe they didn't finish making up the crap they were trying to pin on trump(he has plenty of real crap he's done bad) before the election, I have no idea.
The Democrats did release the Steele Dossier to the press before the election. It was covered by a couple different outlets. David Corn reported on it in Mother Jones. Michael Isikoff reported on it in in Yahoo News.
I think parts of a real client list would have been leaked by now with all the politics. But, dims and cons working together, lol. Wonder if they had old encrypted stuff that could be cracked today vs before and if they preserved stuff after the “guilty “ plea. Quite the story still. Local police start off strong (despite leaks) but get concerned the local prosecution is compromised so they go to the Feds, who say, hold my Scotch.
Things that didn't happen for $1,000, Alex. Weird how you keep trying to establish your hypotheticals as fact. "They" being Christopher Steele. Christopher Steele, and Fusion GPS, originally having been hired and commissioned to research Trump by Republicans. "Crap they were trying to pin on trump" being the accurate conclusion that he, or his campaign, or both, had connections to Russia. Weird how you try to attribute to HRC things that either didn't actually happen, or that she didn't do. Or both.
Seriously, do you actually believe what you type out? I usually regret engaging such hyper partisan posters and this is going exactly how I figured it would go. I'll go back to just laughing at your posts and ignore your responses.
You were asked how Biden used the DOJ to target Trump. Instead of answering, you turn to insults. Very informative. Seriously, do you actually believe what you type out? If so, why can't you substantiate it? I usually regret engaging such hyper partisan posters and this is going exactly how I figured it would go. I'll go back to just laughing at your posts and ignore your responses.
I’ve always thought the idea of a “client list” seemed somewhat suspicious. I don’t doubt the Trump campaign relied upon that to procure votes. That is what our politicians do, correct? But that Epstein kept a concise list of his “clients” always struck me as odd and a little too convenient. I don’t doubt all the victim accounts at the hands of Epstein. But I am skeptical that he kept a “list.” And in fact, some of these people that we casually suspect being involved would have been up in arms if they found out Epstein kept a “list” with their names on it. And it could be that there is a list of people Epstein met with, but that a majority of those people had nothing to do with the heinous criminal activity Epstein was involved with. Also, if there truly is a list, I would question the DOJ releasing that list based on the possibility of future prosecutions, and/or lawsuits. Seems that such a release could potentially compromise those efforts. That being said, all of this chatter is a consequence of Trump channeling this into a campaign issue. I’m just not sure how that would be any different than the thousands of other “campaign issues” other politicians have deployed in the past.
I guess we can argue over the definition of "releasing it to the press" because I looked up the Corn article to which you refer and he does say that he's seen the dossier, and broadly describes it, but the dossier itself wasn't released and democrats weren't screaming from the rooftops about it like Trump would have in the same circumstance. It's also not clear that the democrats leaked it to David Corn - based on the article it appears that Steele himself was the source for the article. Regardless, in this case, I don't think the Democrats would be holding back based on some moral or ethical stance since they wouldn't be able to release Trump's involvement without also (likely) implicating Clinton and dozens of other Democrat politicians and donors.
I guess you also have to decide which is worse, releasing the story to the press or trying to use it to get the FBI to start an investigation of your political rival. Steele was pushing the story to Korn and Isikoff because the Clinton team had taken it to the FBI and they were not acting fast enough in Steele's opinion. Either way, the Steele Dossier had made its way into the press.
