Maybe she wouldn't be paying them "not to work" if they didn't have to worry about being apprehended by masked ICE agents when they did work.

 

Remind me, is this week legal/safe for immigrants to work on farms and hospitality or is it next week per dear leader..... it gets difficult to keep up with?

Except the ones that pay a 50% tariff. The ones that work in agriculture and hospitality have to pay a 30% tariff. All within 2 weeks, or the deadline gets extended.

Sorry, they have to pay 125% tariffs, and surrender their mineral rights. Unless they work in agriculture or hospitality, or in a red state, or for a Trump donor. If they don't pay by August 1st, their rates get increased and they have to pay by July 9th. If this doesn't happen within two weeks, all rates get adjusted.

Also, I love Trump because he says what he means and means what he says. There's so much winning. Promises made, promises kept.




Also, pay close attention to all this at all times. Pay no attention to the fact that Donald Trump just pushed a bill that kicked 11.8 million people off Medicaid and gave himself a big tax cut. Don't pay attention to his unethical crypto scam either. He loves America.

 

I'm sure Texas will build its own concentration camp and it will be bigger and more awful than Florida's. Abbott and DeSantis are in a race to the bottom.

While it did happen during the Biden Administration keep in mind that critics of the Border Patrol's treatment of migrants under Biden would have preferred that they remain in Mexico under similar inhumane conditions. There is also a difference between migrants who have recently crossed the border and those who have been apprehended and placed in facilities in Trump's gulag like Alligator Alcatraz after having lived in the US for an extended period of time, are employed, have committed no crimes and have citizen spouses and children.

 

Someone is making a lot of money off of these camps.

Good news but once again and maybe it's just me it still doesn't change the fact that for every serious criminal illegal alien that ICE apprehends and detains it's apprehending and detaining hundreds of otherwise law-abiding undocumented immigrants including those who have been in the US for an extended period of time, are gainfully employed and have citizen spouses and children and those numbers will go up not to mention the legal immigrants and US citizens who have already been and will be much more likely to be caught in the ICE dragnet.

And those numbers are likely to be even higher now and once the additional funding for ICE under Trump's "Big Beautiful Bill" actually filters down to the agency considerably higher.

 

If the left wants to run on a platform of defending throwing rocks and shooting pistols at ice agents who arrested both child predators and freed 10 unaccompanied minors who were most likely trafficked at this location alone, then I say please carry on. While it may score points with the NYC, Portland and LA crowd it’s a national election loser.

 

I think I know how those pop-up detention camps are going to be filled:

And while the detainees are waiting for their removal proceedings, Trump and Co. are going to milk this cash cow for all it's worth. It reminds me of Trump making money off of the government by housing his large security detail at his own properties.
