If DJ stays healthy I could see this group putting up significant numbers this season. With a seasoned offensive line returning and a potent run game, I am optimistic YPG through the air will take a significant jump in 25.
That room is loaded with a chance for 2-3 being elite. Going to be hard to keep all of them. I think they have pigeon holed Eugene to date. He can do more than go in motion and catch a 2yd hitch. I understand the attractiveness of throwing a ball 2 yards and it going for 80, but even Percy Harvin was given the ability to run down field.
It took Toney three years to become a decent route runner. He was just a get the ball in his hands guy too his first couple years.
All of these receivers are going to be fun to watch. The Wilsons, and Sturdivant from UCLA, are all going to light it up on the field. That receiver corps is easily two deep with experience all over the place. It also has a nice bit of new talent sprinkled in there too. Eugene Wilson III is going to be a junior?
Probably the best collection of talent with some experience since 2018 with Jefferson, Hammond, Swain, Grimes, Cleveland, and oh yeah Pitts. Lots of NFL talent in that one.
