It is truly bizarre. Republicans reacted to losing the 2020 election with death threats to election officials, some of whom had to go into hiding. They attacked the US Capitol in an attempt to overturn the election and with talk of hanging public officials who stood in their way. Democrats responded to losing the 2024 election with “somebody said he heard somebody say there needs to be blood.” Clearly Democrats are the violent ones. I guess there’s always been plenty of this, but social media certainly makes it easier for people to just say anything, whether it makes any sense or not.
How about the antifa-like wingnuts in Texas that attacked an ICE installation with fireworks then attempted to assassinate a deputy sheriff when he arrived on seen? Is that not leftist violence?

Perhaps. But a major difference, of course, is that "rightest" violence has been encouraged and incited by the current sitting President. And it's now a right-wing party litmus test to lie about it. So there's a tremendously big difference, no matter how hard people on the right try to convince others that what we saw with our own eyes didn't actually happen.

It's abhorrent that the democrats have created this open season on ICE personnel. This and the anti-Jewish hatred by the left should not be tolerated in the US.
Once again comparing violence prone fanatics with the mainstream Democrats. Supporters of most corrupt president will never up promulgating the same absurd narrative over and over. It's also abhorrent that ICE is apprehending, detaining and preparing to deport undocumented immigrants who have committed no real crimes (illegal presence in the US in and of itself is not a crime) are gainfully employed, have parents and/or spouses who are American citizens and very often are taken into custody because they have been checking in with ICE regularly and/or had legal status which was withdrawn and/or they had applications asylum which were dismissed before a formal decision on their applications was made.
Maga needs to believe these types of false reports to keep their hate of "other" Americans going. I miss when we were all Americans but with different viewpoints (though those different than mine were wrong, LOL).
