Definitely a win with only two dissents. But this is more of a “proceed and let the lawsuits fly”. SCOTUS did not rule on the legality of any RIF plan… so now Russ Vought has a green light to drop RIFs and back up the slow Courts with a giant turd pipe.

It's funny how long it took for the Judicial Branch of the government to "let" the Chief Executive of the entire Executive Branch of the government, The POTUS, do his job... in his branch of the government. The "Supremacy" Branch of government (Judicial Branch) is out of control. IT'S NOT IN THEIR PURVIEW TO BEGIN WITH.

Someone’s homework is to research the Pendleton Act (1883) and explain to the class what it is and why it was deemed necessary.

Apparently he never learned about the related concepts of three coequal branches of government and checks and balances. If the founders considered one branch of the three branches is to be preeminent it's clearly the legislative branch considering that the Constitution begins with Article I which sets forth the role of the legislative branch. Unfortunately both the legislative branch (Congress) and the Judicial Branch (the Supreme Court) have abdicated their roles although fortunately that situation will not last forever. Unfortunately, the situation probably will last for another year and a half during which the current incompetent deranged POTUS has the potential to do incalculable damage.
