to be honest this would be a tough call for me- I watched my oldest daughter die slowly in hospice. She had not had any brain activity in 6 days, and I could only sit there and wait https://www.theblaze.com/shows/the-...erm=ACTIVE LIST - 7 Day Engagement&tpcc=email
my heart goes out that you and your family went to thru that. but I have to ask about that link - how is it fascism?
I don't trust doctors (to give fair assessments) to legally kill people, because it's a slippery slope. This is very much a bipartisan subject and it affects all people equally.
The thing that scares me more than anything is leaving a family decision up to the government. This should be an easy decision tree for most cases. Any individual should have the right to determine a trusted party (even if only a party of 1) to make a responsible decision in this case. If the determined party and the doctors are on the same page, and that's good enough for the person in care, then that should be good enough for the government. Just another area we don't need to be relying on the government to tell us what is right and what is not right. I'm honestly not sure where the controversy is here. Go GATORS! ,WESGATORS
A little off topic but the first time I heard the term euthanasia I thought they were talking about Russian kids. OK I got my attempt at humor in y'all can carry on.
True story. I was in class at UF when the teacher said he rarely bursts out laughing when he's grading the students' writing. But he said a student in the class had really spelled it youth-in-Asia on an assignment. Everyone in the class laughed except the girl sitting next to me.
