    Anyway welcome aboard Mr. Morris!
Let the July surge continue!! #5 in SEC recruiting rankings, but with 2 - 3 more 4 stars possibly committing soon, hopefully UF moves up another couple of notches in the SEC and maybe into the top 10 nationally.

On paper the class looks pretty darn good in terms of balancing position group needs, obviously with the exception of the Defensive line, especially the interior defensive line, but hopefully Billy and Co. can address that area.

Since the system is the way it is (which I'm not found of) why wouldn't players go after the money? There is no guarantee that all of the players will make it in the NFL therefore seems logical to cash in while they can.

From the player's POV knowing NFL is only a goal, making an extra $400k* over a few years means a lot. Few schools can say we pay significantly less but play for us and your odds of an NFL contract go up dramatically, to level the discussion.

*Using the 400k for reference. I have no idea what schools offer, some probably more, just thinking what it would take for me to get my attention.

It's a good question and lately I have been hearing "Point" counter "Point".

Some spin the narrative that: OK believers, that every commit is "for sale", and then they site the statistics of those who "stick" with their commitment vs those that take a powder to a higher bidder. Like, recently, Josh Pate whom is expressing the view that things are "settling down" to a more "traditional" aspect, and site the % of those that "stick" against those who leave.

Then you read the recent "Ojo" situation, and of course those that state: We got a commit because we won the first round of the bidding war and just kept "matching" the other bidders offers until National signing day.

The truth? I dunno, I'm not privy to the realities. But it sure AIN'T like it was 5 -6 years ago, that much I do believe.

A..he won’t walk onto campus for months, and play for another 14 months. A four star lb and is rated #17 in the nation. All that is irrelevant but….it appears he has demonstrable talent. Yay for the good guys.

As I posted, Lakeland people attribute the gain to being out and he should be able to get it off....and the staff certainly wants him. But it is a slight concern until it isnt.

He has that look and size that seems to translate... into beast mode.

Pit bull of a linebacker that sees the game better than most his age as he breaches gaps and gets ball carries on the ground. Extremely active in the box as he seeks and plays through contact. Quick to read with and diagnose with his eyes and can swiftly change course, if needed. Downhill charge has proven to be a headache for opposing running backs on Friday nights, but doesn't appear to be the type of athlete that's going to win every foot race. Owns more of a muscled-up build at this stage, which could have him in the lineup sooner rather than later on Saturdays. However, does look to have some limitations with the frame as he isn't the longest front-seven defender. Two-way snaps and multi-sport participation elevate already exciting junior tape. Overall, should be viewed as a physical, two-down inside linebacker that can rack up the tackles for a Power Four program. Likely to be at his best in short-yardage situations where he can ram his way into the backfield and help create chaos as that has been the case the past few years for one of the Sunshine State's more respected high school programs.

Not arguing that scenario at all. Just wishful thinking that IF our beloved program doesn’t have the resource to spend as much as it takes, then it is a waste of effort and energy to go after players that we might could have already recognized as being only about the money for them, so we focus on other potential recruits.
