It's sad that it took almost 6 months to get us back the great place where Diamond Joe left us. So much interest has been lost #TrumpsAmerica
The Dems were happy when Liberation Day happened to temporarily kill the stock market. That seems like it happened a year ago.
Wall Street loves it some monstrous government spending... that's just a straight up historical fact. The 1BBB seems to fit that bill rather snugly.
I play the long game so I didn’t. Riding all time highs in my accounts. But that didn’t stop you from your snarky “invest better” comments when Trump dumped the market by more than 16%.
And it's taken is Trump break all his promises. Doge is dead. TACO on tariffs. Letting most of the immigrants stay. Greenland still belong to demark. Etc. Etc.
That would be the tariff "panicans" that believed all the big "doomsday" investment managers. Lol, they all missed the big comeback. The stack market came back without them.
Good news. But we should have been doing better YTD. Below is 6 month YTD Europe etf vs S&P. Approx 15% higher. Of course impacted by our plunging dollar but basically any international index beats the S&P (Asia, South America, South Africa)
DJIA is down 438 so far today. Probably will continue to head down until Trump reverses his position on tariffs again. If he continues to insist on imposing the tariffs we could be back into bear market territory. Stock Market Today: Stocks Losses Deepen After Trump Dials Up Trade Tensions Although the article in its entirety is behind a paywall the title says it all.
LOL ... last time Okee started one of these posts, S&P to 6000 IIRC, it took like another 2 months to get there....
Looks like TACO announced another 25% tax on Americans today... Trump announces 25% tariffs on Japan, South Korea in first U.S. trade letters
You see, he is totally getting China by imposing higher tariffs on imports from their economic and military regional rivals and making American consumers buy less, buy products that they like less, or pay more. You just have to see this in 14 dimensions to get this...
