Okay, good, now we have established that she couldn't "fix it" and the 47 years have literally nothing to do with anything other than the fact that she is likely to be punished by the government of Iran for the nerve of not liking them.

Your concern over the rules though seems to be in bad faith. Heck, Elon and Melania violated the rules twice. Your goal seems to be to get people to violate the rules either zero or two times, just not once. The joys of the immigration system, where two wrongs do make a right (if the President identifies with you).

BTW, the correct and only answer is that she could have applied for asylum. But the illegal entry makes that difficult. However, the US government is also not supposed to send immigrants back to their deaths. So, her likely resolution would have been the Abrego Garcia resolution, no visa, but no ability to deport to the one location that we could deport (e.g., permanent illegal status until some bad faith actor picks her up). Wow, these rules sure are terrific!

How? By continuing to register with immigration? She did that. By returning to Iran and asking to return legally? Do that, and she likely never makes it out of Iran one way or another. What other options did she have?

And yet you can't come up with an actual legal pathway by which she could "choose" to correct it. You sent her back to Iran. What does she do then?

There is no presidential "petition" system for immigrants to change their status. That literally does not exist.

But the thing is: it doesn't exist. And that is because of the stupidity of our immigration laws. Which is why the only way to defend them or their blind enforcement is to invent things that don't exist, like a petition system.

Probably. They are doing this already. Trump got to keep those January 6th insurrections doing something until he decides to use them for something more insidious.

Again. As someone who originally entered illegally, there's no legal path to a green card. What part of this do you not understand?

What if she works in the farm or hospitality industry? Then she can stay, right?

You are too kind, my friend. Forty seven years of criminal behavior? Ship her down to El Salvador.

47 years living here peacefully with no criminal record after escaping a regime that would likely kill her for being a woman criticizing the government given the chance. And now, we'll give Iran that chance. Yep, she deserves a death sentence!

It's really simple, if they want to be in our great country, come here legally. I you're already in our country illegally, then get an attorney or get registered to stay here legally

again she was here illegally for 47 years, so for 47 years she was breaking our immigration laws - I am sure the left will find some bleeding heart liberal judge who will stay for now her deportation - does not change the fact that she deserves to be deported

How do you feel about Trump saying that he wouldn't be deporting illegal farm and hospitality workers?

President Donald Trump has said his administration is working on legislation to allow undocumented migrants in industries such as agriculture and hospitality to remain in the United States.

"We're working on legislation right now where – farmers, look, they know better. They work with them for years. You had cases where…people have worked for a farm, on a farm for 14, 15 years and they get thrown out pretty viciously and we can't do it. We gotta work with the farmers, and people that have hotels and leisure properties too," he said at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines on Thursday.

"We're gonna work with them and we're gonna work very strong and smart, and we're gonna put you in charge. We're gonna make you responsible and I think that that's going to make a lot of people happy. Now, serious radical right people, who I also happen to like a lot, they may not be quite as happy but they'll understand. Won't they? Do you think so?"

Donald Trump could let millions of illegal immigrants stay in US

What if she's a farm or hospitality worker, and Bleeding Heart Trump will let her stay?

How do you feel about that?

No. Just tell us, please; do you still love fake anti-immigration Daddy Trump even though he's clearly told you that he's conning you?
