Wow, that was BRUTAL! He doesn't seem to be a homer-type (I won't check out any of his other videos) and so his brand of humor is tough as nails...and damn truthful. But to parrot what is in the video, it begins and ends with what was the program and what IS the Miami "fan". It has some recruiting benefits but overall, it is a damn bad misfit with the culture of Miami proper and the university overall. The "fans" are a bunch of silly big-city idiots who think just because they build a tall building unlike anyone else's that it makes their place superior. All it does is make you look as stupid as you are. And using the old adage, "it is better to be silent and be thought of as a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt." Or to use an even better adage, "stupid is as stupid does." Thanks Forrest for the wise words.
Miami, not a fan. My least favorite team. Most hated. Georgia, Fla State, hate them, but, for some reason, Miami is a whole nother level of hate. Probably from the days when they literally had freaking street thugs playing the game. (Albeit, athletic street thugs) We all have had some bad apples, but they cherry-picked from the bad apple cart. Johnson, Schnellenberger, both great coaches. They gave us some trouble. We gave them our share too. I lived in south Miami, on the edge of Coral Gables when I was going to Miami-Dade South Campus. Thank God I transferred to Florida. It's great to-be a Florida Gator! I hope and pray this year Napier can ratchet up the offensive creativity. We got the kids!! Go Gators.
Im kinda with you on this one. I still hate fsu and Georgia more but tge miami fans are a lower lifeform. Im only a gator fan and not an alumni and in most cases, i dont think thats whats matters much when that tv contract check clears. Miami is different though in that when you see a cane fan, you are absolutely certain they have trouble reading picture books.
In Pensacola, I'm closer to FSU so they are a little bit more relevant over here along with them inbred up north
