With the way, the SEC is now, the team with the best record may not be the best team. We don't play the same schedules even within our conference. That's one reason I like the 16 team playoff, there's no way in hell you get left out if you can win a game.

Strangely enough, I really didn’t have a problem with any of the selections, until …we expanded to 12.

The very thing I thought would happen, has happened. The more we expand it, the more people will bitch.

 

Track and field needs a commettee most. Too often in sprints the runner that everyone knows is fastest doesn't get a good start off the gun and finishes just a hair short of the finish line first. Since they are actually faster 9bout of 10 times they are better and more deserving. So we don't want to reward the slower runners.

All of this talk about not using a commettee to pick the best teams is rubbish. Do let simple metrics like losses in a division or conference get in the way.
