A delusional Trump lies about Gas Prices, says gas is $1.99, is he OK?

It was that low until he did this, arguably to save domestic oil producers :

The word "trigger" never meant so much, for so many, for such trivial things.

 

Why not just say 99 cents? I mean if you are going to lie, go biggly!

 

I filled up yesterday at $2.699 headed into Independence Day. My previous fill up was $2.669. Both were at Sam's Club.

Compared to last year at this time, my gas is down .30 cents per gallon.

I don't see how we are going to do much better until more US supply come online. Oil running between $65 and $69 a barrel doesn't allow for much lower prices at this time.

BTW, my gas spiked up to $2.839 during the Israeli/Iran Conflict.

Trump is prone to exaggeration. However, all I care about is results.

 

the question, as always, is whether he simply has no clue what gas pricese are or if he's simply lying.
