Cags moving up to MLB

Dammit, I was going to the game today and had something come up that messed up my schedule.

I've been calling him Lumber Jac (in my posts) since his first year. Now that he's using a wood bat it's even more appropriate

 

Was Jac brought to the bigs too early? After 18 games he's only hitting .194 with 2 HR, 4 RBI and 14 K's? Just asking.

 

Bench him (along with Taylor Shumaker.) The joke should be obvious, but wouldn't they make a lovely couple? Serious future Gators on the diamonds.

 

There’s guys with way worse stat lines that hang around in the league for a long time. Jac will figure it out.

 

Peaks and valleys—it’s a constant game of adjustments—always has been, always will be.

 

Is playing great defense. Run saving great catches. Had another last night. But at some point, he needs to hit.

 

Still wish the Reds had drafted him and not another arm injury waiting to happen.

 

Jac's BA is down to .157. If he doesn't get it going pretty soon he'll be shipped back to AAA.

 

I know that we all pull for Cags but this is part of the process. The big league arms have obviously found a hole in his swing to exploit so now he’s got to figure out how to combat it.

 

Another tough night last night for Cags. 0-4 with 3 K's. Definitely struggling, but he'll figure it out.

 

The good news is that he seems to have turned into a pretty good right fielder.
