Recent Grad transfer pitchers, Mesiemore, Wooten and Bender had limited IP and were not a factor in my opinion. Hammock had 64 IP with a 4.05 ERA (7.15 over 15.2 IP in SEC play), again in my opinion got too many innings based on her lack of consistency. I often wondered if these ladies were added to the roster as a courtesy and with hope but limited expectations? I hope Sparkman is the exception!
I’m thinking they may have all served a valuable service in preparing our team for the season by pitching batting practice as well, at least in some open practices they seemed to get a lot of work?

Not a specific comment on Guachino but it seems Patty is really trying to fill a pitching staff with something somewhat less than what they might normally have. I haven't really studied it so I could be blowing smoke. I guess Bordi is going back since no word she entered the portal. The Bordi situation is a strange one at that.
Ive read that Bordi is going back, but I can't think where now. I think it was a twitter/X link shared on FB welcoming her back from her teammates, but with all the fake stuff around currently its hard to tell if it was real or not. Some of the stuff is obviously fake, vit this didnt appear to be. If I can find it I will post it here.
I’ve seen discussions on OU boards that she may be back, but not with a substantially supported reference.
I just had a look around and I can't find anything that looks real now, so what I saw was probably just another stupid clickbait post. Certainly nothing conclusive.
All I really know is her dad passed away from Covid related complications back in 2021 I think so for me she’ll be one of those heartstring cases that I really, really pull for.
