How many of the common criminals responsible for vandalism and assualts as a result of the George Floyd protests were pardoned by the governors of the respective states where they committed their crimes? And how many county prosecutors were fired for prosecuting them? Just asking.

It is more like, if CNN says so it is insurrection.
If CNN says so it is a peaceful protest.

Tell me George Floyd riots were peaceful protests.
Had the J6 crowd been interested in violence there would have been a ton of violence not just pushing and shoving and scattered scuffles. You don't think if insurrection was the intent of the crowd there would not have been major beat downs of the police?

I didn't say the riots were peaceful protests.

I don't think "pushing and shoving," quite covers the violence of the insurrection. As for the lack of police presence, that just points out the fact that many LEO's just didn't show up. I wonder why, when the Proud Boyz and other insurrectionists were planning and organizing on the open Internet? Date, time, goals (among which, hang Pence) and what the effective participant should bring (weapons, mask, snacks, etc.)

This is when Trump should have called in the National Guard, perhaps even had them standing by to prevent the Insurrection. Since there was a noticeable absence of blacks and/or immigrants, Trump let things play out, unimpeded by the very police you think should have been giving "major beat downs."

Truly bizarre how MAGA supporters think they can spread these lies to rational, normal people.

    Good entertainment, at least.

CNN hasn’t been successfully sued for hundred of millions dollars for defamation. A certain right wing channel that spouts non-stop propaganda that many on this forum like to listen to, has however. You all would love North Korea.

No reason was given for firing the three prosecutors. It is easy ( and likely correct) to assume it is primarily due to their work on the J6 uprising.
IF that’s the case .. firing them
For doing their job .. jobs they would have been assigned is wrong and vindictive.
Just because other riots, rioters, uprising etc.. occurred and the punishments, and responses were less severe does not change or make these firings ok.
In my opinion of course. Your mileage will certainly vary.

In a country with the most weapons in the hands of its citizenry and NOT ONE GUN or other weapon was used? Yeah..., NOT A INSURRECTION. We saw the guards calmly letting the sightseers in the front door of the Capital Building.

You're getting there, buddy. This is definitely not right. Trump's lackey Biondi using the Justice Department as his personal instrument of revenge is a shockingly egregious total absence of ethics, and ought to be considered criminal. It's not a matter of opinion, or "mileage may vary."

And also, it's a total fiction that anyone else is "allowed" to riot without repercussions. See post #12.

But you're getting there; seeing the grotesque unethical criminality, even if you're not willing to call it what it is yet. I think that's progress.

I really don’t want to be anywhere you are. I’ll make my own decisions and follow my own path. You will clearly do the same and if I’m sane and lucky at all, those paths at most will run parallel and I won’t cross over into your hyper partisan world.

And I don't want to be anywhere you are. I just think it's great that you're starting to be able to see right from wrong, even if you're still afraid to call it out.

It's nice to see even small amounts of growth in other people.

Upheaval implies it was a random day of the year. Insurrection is trying to stop someone from the opposite political party on the day they rightfully are certified as president.

ahh Jo Jo and md seem to still be suffering from TDS. Both you guys supported BLM and the riots and law breaking that occurred. Was the January 6 protest an insurrection? Only in the eyes of the left. Was it a protest that got out of control, absolutely. If 3 prosecutors were fired than I am sure it was because they violated their Oath and more than likely the law. The left on THFSG are all up in arms, oh the horrors of it all.

Yes they did do that all week BEFORE 1/6. I'm told they do that now as well. Try not to bring up lies that have been completely shown to be lies. Be better

Nobody is firing prosecutors because they charged someone for committing crimes during the Floyd stuff.
