Desmond Green Commits to UF

Been a while and i like the OL we’ve had. They will outperform their rankings in a few years time. Don’t feel like any of them are 3+ year projects

 

I want to see staff develop this guy. Expect him to make an impact after a couple of seasons.

I hope you’re right. I would feel better if these guys were rated as 4 star prospects.

 

They can boost their star rating this fall.

 

Anyone think we are done or take one more on the OL.
Of course it's a long way to December.

 

I believe Candy said we may want 6. That's a high number to me but it accounts for wash out, so that's good. I thought I looked at the roster and after this season we have 12-14 SO/JR types returning, if no attrition. That's a nice number.

Would like to see a home run and a finish at the rim.

 

Lucas is really raw and will need some time, but he may be the most athletic. With the crazy portal, hopefully he sticks around for fully developed because what Sale and Decoster can do for him is really starting to show on the field for us.

 

I would agree if we didn't have to keep patching OL holes with free agents. We have 2 OL that the Napier era has developed. This year and next year when Slaughter and George leave should tell the tale.

Napier is going to need multiple upsets to keep his job.

 

We could win 8 without any upsets. I would think he's safe with 8. Maybe, maybe not. 8 plus a bowl win is improvement. Now, 8 that could have been 10 but for some in-game blunders, who knows.

 

I think we are underdogs in more games than that.

 

We knock off Miami in convincing fashion and that could change

 

That would be the first upset.

 

Maybe a little. Will miami have a QB? It's nice to imagine our D dominating and our new OC slinging all over the field between 10 yard run gashes.

 

We probably start 4 recruited OL this year and almost all the backups....think we have 3 portal OL on the roster. In this day and age of college football doubt many teams have that many homegrown kids
