I know that is the intent, but the courts have already ruled that players can't be restricted from being paid. The NCAA rules won't hold up in court. It is simply a free for all, pay to play, and NCAA rules won't stop it. The whole NCAA attempt to get a handle on things was way too little too late and that agreement will be challenged and beaten every way from Sunday.
Scrappy - I want to hire whoever taught the last 2 Pace pitcher to pitch, I can almost 100% guarantee you it was NOT the coaches in their HS. I still think we should hire or should have hired Laura Rothrock who not only taught Keegan but many other D1 pitchers and knows all the good pitchers from 8th grade on. I still have a "juries out" on Stephanie. I could care less about someone crying about nepotism.
The only reason I can think of for not hiring her is the pay cut she would have taken. I agree with the Pace coaches outside the high school.

I don’t know much about Forums. It seems odd that a single thread has 12,538 messages on 628 pages. Sure would be great to have a separate forum for key sports and a lot better for members to navigate and keep subjects organized.
This Ongoing UF Softball Commentary thread has been used for continuous, year around discussion of Gator softball and anything related to it. During the season there are separate threads for just about every game, plus one was started to discuss this year's transfer portal, not just for the Gators but for any portal issues, teams or players anybody wants to bring up. I think it's pretty cool that there's been an ongoing UF Softball thread going for over 3 years. Shows how much interest and passion some of us have for Gator softball. But to each his own.
