I do not think that Medicaid payments to Planned Parenthood fund abortions.

It's beyond a doubt, though, that the existence of Planned Parenthood prevents innumerable unwanted pregnancies from happening, and thus prevents abortions. So this is just another example of the anti-abortion crowd taking measures that will ...... increase abortions.

    #WINNING, lol

    Also, to save time, I'm going to provide the rebuttal to my post;
"No, if Planned Parenthood weren't funded, people just wouldn't get abortions. Far fewer or maybe even none of them would. They'd be all abstinent and sexually responsible, just like Donald Trump!" :)

This will filter down through the other republican states as well. Thanks to SCOTUS for taking the side of protecting babies who cannot defend themselves.

When is your party going to start caring about kids once they’re out of the womb? I’ll let George Carlin explain it best for you.

The Hyde Amendment assures no Federal monies can go towards abortion. And 97% of the procedures than Planned Parenthood bills for are for non-abortion procedures. So congrats, South Carolina. You just cut money for women's health for everything but abortion.

And for the 100th time I will explain to you that conservatives far and wide, outpace liberals in adoptions, especially adoptions of minority children and children with disabilities.

Furthermore, Almost all of the major child aid organizations are faith based and tend to be conservative.

How long are you guys going to rely on the same tired, disproven tripe?

it’s not enough to justify the policies we are seeing impacting reproductive freedom.

    Hyde only covers federal money.
25% of Medicaid money in South Carolina is state funded. That money is not restricted by Hyde.

That is a different debate, but this whole "conservatives are only pro life before birth" is a flat out out falsehood that the left uses as a marketing ploy, but it has no merit and makes the people claiming it look silly...Yet it gets repeated time and time again on this board by people thinking it makes some valid point.

Can you back up that statement?

NCFA doesn’t even seem to be collecting that type of data.

And you think that this is good?
The ruling permits the state to bar Medicaid from issuing reimbursements to the organization for even non-abortion-related procedures and services, such as cancer screenings.

Political conservatives don’t get to claim God. Sorry, I and many others here reject this on many levels.

Reproductive freedom? What you actually mean is the freedom to create a new life and not have to shoulder the responsibility for it. I do not care about sexual promiscuity, I just care that a lot of you do not care about the life that gets created. And is okay killing that unborn child.

Barna Group’s research shows that Christians have engaged in adoption, foster care and other ways of aiding vulnerable children more than the norm. Practicing Christians (5%) are more than twice as likely to adopt than the general population (2%). Catholics are three times as likely. And evangelicals are five times as likely to adopt as the average adult.
Three Trends on Faith, Work and Calling - Barna Group

    Gallop shows the same:
    Who Adopts the Most?.

Also, there is actual evidence that conservatives and liberals have SIMILAR views on welfare:

5 of the top 7 rated child aid organizations are Christian based:

Good thing you have no say then.
Regardless the claim was made by a leftist spouting the same tripe and it is factually wrong.

Now if you are suggesting that many Christians have gone snowblind to the reality of our faith by choosing what they perceived as the lesser of evils, I would agree with you, but you dont get to force the view on me, as someone that holds conservative values near and dear, that I can not claim God, any more than I can tell you that.

You are implicitly telling him that though. That was his point. By trying to pretend that religious = conservative, you are stating that implicitly. Your initial claim was about politics, but then you shifted the goalposts to religion.
