I need a Constitutional Lawyer here to tell me how an unelected Senate Parliamentarian has essentially taken power away from the Senate by pushing for fewer cuts in this BBB? How can our entire budget be up to ONE unelected person?

It’s entertainment for me. I can’t watch The View so I rely on you to remind me how truly ridiculous the left is and how for you; EVERYTHING revolves around Orange Man Bad.

And to think, this latest exchange started with me giving you a compliment and you responding with an insult

    1) The Parliamentarian interprets the Senate’s own rules.
    2) It’s advisory and non-binding
    3) Stop blaming people for doing their jobs simply because it ends with a result you don’t like.

I'm sorry (for you) that I figure so prominently in your life. Perhaps you should work on that somehow?

Now if you'll refrain from addressing me, I'm sure I'm not the only one who would appreciate that.

Maybe instead you can give us another explanation of why your political hero, Donald J. Trump, isn't responsible for the $3T of deficit spending his crummy bill will saddle us with, how it's all the fault of Congress. :)

Blaming? Who am I "blaming?" What I am questioning is the power of an unelected official... pointing that FACT out is NOT BLAMING.

It’s inherent in your post. You are blaming her for getting in the way of what the Republicans are trying to put in a budget bill against Senate rules. She hasn’t “taken power away” and budget isn’t up to one person, much less her. This wouldn’t even be a story if the Republicans had only included appropriate items in the bill per Senate rules.

Wow - looks like a new estimate has the Trump Debt Increase Bill adding $4.2 to $4.8 trillion to the debt!

Senate Proposes $4.2 Trillion of Tax Cuts

Note: the Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) has put together a current law score of the Senate Finance Committee tax proposals, which roughly match our numbers in this analysis.

On a current law basis, we estimate the Senate-proposed tax cuts would increase deficits by $4.2 trillion – nearly $500 billion above the House’s equivalent proposals. That figure would rise to $4.8 trillion if temporary tax cuts in the bill were ultimately made permanent.

I kinda hope they do pass this turd of a bill. Its effects will be hitting people pretty hard by November 2026. It sucks, but you get what you vote for.

She wants the Senate to take out the provision in the BBB Senate bill that would defund sanctuary cities, and she wants to take out the provision in the BBB Senate bill that would defund SNAP for illegal aliens.

Even if he doesn't get a tax break, at the least his taxes will not go up significantly as they would in fact do if Trump's 2018 tax cuts expire should this bill not pass. Failure is not an option.

Not only that, but the bill also has the largest spending cuts in, well, forever, over $1.5 Trillion Dollars.

I wish for once people would read both sides as the congressional democratic leadership is lying about what is in the bill.

We've ran up over $30 trillion in debt over the last 80 or so years, most of it coming in the more recent part of that time frame. When most of us were alive.

In other words, we've consumed things that we haven't paid for.

Why do you just want more tax cuts, at the obvious cost of more debt? Do you just want more things that you don't have to pay for? Why do you want other people to pay all of your bills?

Perhaps if one wants to avoid the lying Republican talking points , you can see that the vast majority of the spendings cuts are actually to Medicaid and SNAP and simply are reductions in the usual pymts to the states to fund their programs. But fear not they ADDED much, much more spending than they're taking away thus adding massively to the National Debt. Over 90% of the tax savings are funneled to the rich, at the expense of the sick and hungry. Talking about lying.... since hypothetically speaking the states could pony up the lack of Medicaid, and SNAP funding the Pubs are actually claiming that THEY are cutting the programs. What a pile of Trump.

One word, growth. It's going to take a combination of growth and spending cuts to keep from falling off the fiscal cliff as a nation which has occurred under the leadership of both parties. Trump has his work cut out for him. I support what he is doing and pray he succeeds.

Now, you can attach your funny.

I have a policy of not responding to your usual crap, but this is a fair and easy question to answer.

BTW, nobody has ever paid my bills. Going on 71 in August and I've also never had even one delinquency on any obligation. I take extreme pride in that accomplishment.
