I know what you speak is based on long experience with the realities of offensive line players being "ready to go" but perhaps one or two from this year's crop surprise us and earn PT in year 2.
I believe that Carr will be expected to step in as a freshman at OG if necessary. I don't expect the others to be ready. Carr was an important addition.
Folks, tell me he is severely underrated. My experience is, guys ranked under 50th are usually hopefuls. I guess higher rated OTs look like they might be going elsewhere?
I think UF will take up to 6 on the OL. He has the physical tools, but I can't say he is under rated or not.
Do you mean 50 at the position or 50 of all recruits? OL is incredibly developmental, and even really highly rated ones can take time to crack the starting lineup. Some get a leg up with their high school coaching. Harris is an obvious one for us, and Carr will likely be the same.
