Trump Installing two 100-Foot-Tall Flag Polls at WH

A difference is they are presented as temporary displays for particular events. Easter, Christmas not sure what pic above is but a crowd of people on the front lawn celebrating something. Most everyone occasionally puts up some decorations on their home. Just like Trump turned it into a car lot - at least it was temporary.
The new flags were constructed to be permanent and now officially part of the WH.

 

After J6, I'm not sure why you do. Is this a tribute to J6? I mean they were used as weapons against the capital police. One more question. Will they have orange man's face on them? Fight fight fight?

Agree. As can anything at the White House. e.g. The Rose Garden grass area has been in place for decades and Trump is digging it up and putting in pavers. Or trump will add a ballroom, whatever that means. Any structure can be removed or modified. A pool can be “removed”. The giant poles are permanent structures as it’s set in a solid foundation -maybe gravel or poured concrete. They will be up 24/7 indefinitely until another politician takes them down. Unlike temporary balloons, Easter/xmas decorations or rainbow floodlights.

Actually, about a fifth of Trump's supporters draw the line with Trump's starting a war with Iran. Even the Proud Boys are talking about changing their names to the 'Shamed Boys. They are hopping mad that Trump promised to keep America out of war, and then he bombed Iran.

I guess it's a matter of semantics. While we're not involved in an ongoing war dropping multiple 30,000 lb GBU-57 bombs on targets in another country would usually be considered an act of a war.

 

Let's make it really simple for some. The flagpoles are a permanent addition for at least the term of this presidency. The other examples (lights, balloons, banners, etc) were temporary. That is the difference and what most seem to grasp.

 

Still not at war though.
