Coastal threatens with tying run at the plate but a nicely turned double play by LSU brings an end to the game and the Tiger's 8th baseball national championship back to Red Stick. Congrats to both teams - especially LSU!

As I said before the coastal coach is an asshole with a mouth. Baseball karma and they deserve what they got. Arrogant SOB. They lucked out with the bracket they got and they did nothing in these close games. You never get through the entire postseason blowing out everyone. The baseball gods have spoken.
The SEC overall had a really bad NCAA tournament, yet came out with the conference's 6th title in a row. But to me, it was about LSU, not the SEC.
So impressive- only 12 returning players from the 30 some last year. Anderson recruited there and kid that pitched today a portal kid. They don’t have a ton of 330 hitters but they’ve got dudes that can do it when it counts. Congrats LSU
Holes didn’t reach Omaha, we maintain the SEC triple crown. In a year where the Gators don’t advance to the CWS this is all you can ask for.
Yeah, I think you said it well. I guess that’s what I was trying to say earlier- Some 330 hitters are only that during the regular season. It’s the 280 hitter that hits 350 in the tourney that is so valuable. LSU kids seem to be so much tougher in the biggest games. Hope the Gators have some of those dudes like that next year.
